Basics of Abstract – Instructor- Adam F Davidson

The process of creating abstract work is not as easy as it looks and developing visual art projects with a definite focus is usually the most difficult of all. This courses soul focus is to create or start to create a series of art work based on developing unique images and seeing how far it is possible to go for each student. The focus of discussion is asking key questions as a starting point for projects and development process in the student’s artwork and to look at the reasons behind abstraction.


Expressionism – Instructor - Adam F Davidson

Successful art is not only the idea, it is the use of your materials to express. By using the brush, texture and colour to display your emotion or interpretation of the image to be captured on the canvas. From experimentation of the materials used and the action of the painting process is the main basis for expressionism.

The Yod co. idea was created in 2002 to become an artistic business that would create unique projects. Many phases have been taken, reference Artist CV. Since then the bridges made and ideas involved have grown, this web site is to feature those works of art and creative projects. Each to be stated that not all have been documented as such but the intention is to have all works in the future posted.Enjoy the content of this site, make inquires, purchase, join the online blog and become involved with the idea of conceptual abstraction.This is an archive of my more conceptual works and will be the format for my works and or collaborations in the future.  If you know of an original AFD out there that is not on this site, send a photo along and it will be added to the archive, as of now this site displays about 40% of AFD's original works.
